Starting from 1st April 2015, all companies with revenue more than RM500.00k. Therefore, it is surely possible to get a supplier who is GST registered as well. In such cases, you will need to register him as GST registered to ensure correct information is displayed on your supplier invoice.
Step 1: You can check GST info for your supplier from Malaysia Royal Customs Department website: https://gst.customs.gov.my/TAP/_/
When in the custom's page, navigate through Search > Lookup GST status.

The illustrated image is part of the main screen that you will see after clicking on “Lookup GST Status”.

Mark tick either one and enter the details at the column beside. Click Enter to search and proceed.
Step 2: Register and enter your supplier’s GST info (One-by-one), navigate through Supplier > Manage > Suppliers. You may click on the hyperlinked supplier code to register GST for existing supplier or click on “New Supplier” button at the bottom right corner.

Enter the supplier GST information as below. Click “Save” button once you have done.
