The stock group classifies stock items according to their common features. For example, you can group the items of a particular brand together so that you can extract stock of all items of that brand when generating reports.

TreezSoft Accounting software allows you to import data from CSV files. In this blog, we will talk about how to import the list of stock groups into Treezsoft all at once. Before importing, you can download the template prepared by us and refer to a table in restrictions when filling the data. Except for importing a list of stock groups, you also can enter each stock group manually.
How to import stock group listing?
To import the list of stock groups to TreezSoft, navigate through Stock > Manage > Stock groups.
Click on the “Import” button at the bottom left corner.
After clicking on “Import”, the print screen below is the main screen that you can see.
You will see this screen after you click on the import button.

To import data, click on Browse to select the .csv file which you have edited. (Please ensure the exact file is selected otherwise an error message will be prompt.)

Click Upload to proceed.
